DxOMark service specialists checked the autonomy and charge speed of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The tests were carried out in various scenarios for using the device. iPhone 14 Pro Max checked for autonomy. The results weren't impressive.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max received a 4323 mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging. The main consumers of energy in the device are a screen with a 6.7-inch OLED matrix and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, as well as the A16 Bionic chipset. For tests, we took a version of a smartphone with a 512 GB drive.

The autonomy of the device was tested in classic usage scenarios: navigation maps, social networks, calls, taking photos and videos. Compared to smartphones in its price range, the iPhone 14 Pro Max performed the worst, except for social networks. Worst of all, the device was doing with navigation - in this use case, it is located on the last line.

In combined scenarios, the smartphone performed better. When using the device for 2.5 hours a day, the battery lasted for 95 hours. The toughest usage scenario of 7 hours a day allowed the battery to last 40 hours. After the tests, the experts positively assessed the autonomy.

But with indicators of charging speed, things are worse. From zero to one hundred percent, the battery of the device is charged in 2 hours and 21 minutes. Half an hour of charge gives the drug 42%, and after five minutes of charging the smartphone is enough for 3 hours and 20 minutes. When using a wireless charger, the battery gains 100% in 2 hours and 44 minutes.

After testing, the experts combined the results of autonomy and charging speed. As a result, the iPhone 14 Pro Max scored 133 points and took 15th place in the global ranking, losing to the state employee in the face of Redmi Note 10. leading position.
