Xiaomi syncs MIUI gallery with Google Photos
Screenshots of the new application and the date of its launch have appeared on the network.
Xiaomi's official blog says that users will still be able to automatically upload photos to the server, but the server itself will change - now images will be accessed through Google Photos. A little later, the company promises to enable direct sending of files from the Xiaomi Cloud service to Google servers.
The closure of Xiaomi Cloud storage was announced a week ago, the service provided users with 5 GB of free space. In turn, Google Photos will give 15 GB and allow you to share photos with family members. Also, after the update, users will be provided with a 3-month Google One subscription with an expansion of free free space up to 100 GB.
The release of the MIUI gallery, synchronized with Google, is scheduled for October 24 in Singapore. When the update will become available to users in other countries is still unknown.
