Mobile Intel Core i9-13900HK showed mediocre performance results

The Intel Core i9-13900HK flagship mobile chip was tested on a Windows 11 Pro device with 32 GB of RAM. The minimum indicated frequency of the chip was 2.6 GHz, while the maximum was 5.2 GHz, but there is evidence that the processor can be overclocked up to 5.4 GHz. By comparison, the last iteration of the Core i9-12900HK chip had a 5.0 GHz limit by default.

In a 1-core test, the new processor showed a result of 1870 points, and in a multi-threaded mode using all 14 cores (20 threads) - 12436 points. In turn, the Core i9-12900HK scored 1824 and 12754 points, respectively, in identical tests. As a result, there is no significant difference between the processors, although the new chip has an increased clock frequency.

It is likely that the testing was not carried out on the final hardware or without compatible software, so the results may be different on the release. According to reports, Intel Core 13 Raptor Lake mobile processors will be presented before the end of the year. Sales of desktop chips have already begun.
