Upcoming video cards from NVIDIA were tested in the popular Time Spy benchmark. The presentation of the devices will take place only on January 3 at the CES 2023 event.
The test results show that mobile GPUs are superior to stationary solutions of past generations. In total, NVIDIA has to introduce five models of video cards: RTX 4080 Ti, 4080, 4070, 4060 and 4050.
Compared to the previous generation GPU, the new mobile RTX 4080 Ti is a third faster. The RTX 4080 outperforms its predecessor by the same 30%. The power gains for the RTX 4070 and 4060 are 15% and 29%. Also in the tests, a modification of the GeForce RTX 3050, which has not yet been presented, was used, which added up to 6 GB of RAM, it turned out to be one third more powerful than the version with 4 GB of RAM.
The first laptops with new products on board should go on sale in February.
