A hint of the appearance of the Camera Assistant in other models of devices of the South Korean brand was made by one of the moderators of the official Samsung forum. He shared the details in an answer to a question from a community user.



So, the moderator said that the beta tests of the utility for the Galaxy S22 are in full swing. Upon completion of testing, a distribution schedule for the update of the software module for other smartphone lines will be presented. It is noted that Samsung is working on optimizing the module for the maximum number of devices.

The exact list of smartphones with support for advanced settings is still unknown. The timing of the release of the update is also unclear. Camera Assistant unlocks the hidden functionality of the camera app. For example, the user will be able to configure the transition between lenses using gestures, activate burst shooting on a timer, disable auto-enable HDR mode.
