Both models will get several options. The standard version of the Legion Pro 5i will have an Intel Core i7-13500HX chip on board, while the older version will get a more powerful Core i9-13900HX. Discrete graphics will be represented by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050, 4050, 4060 and 4070 graphics cards. It is not yet known exactly how many memory options there will be, but all laptops will receive up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and PCle 4.0 NVMe drives up to 2 TB.



The Legion Pro 5i features a 15.6" 16:10 aspect ratio IPS display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. The display has a 165Hz refresh rate and a 3ms response time. The display has 100% sRGB coverage with VESA DisplayHDR certification 400, it has support for NVIDIA G-SYNC adaptive sync technology.



As for interfaces, the model has a pair of Type-C connectors (USB 3.2 Gen 2, DisplayPort 1.4), one HDMI 2.1, three USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 and Ethernet. An interesting feature is the cover for closing the webcam. The 80 Wh battery holds a charge for up to eight hours. For recharging by 80%, you will have to spend half an hour, for 100% - 1 hour.



Legion Pro 7i differs from Pro 5i in screen, memory, chip and battery. The laptop will only be available with an Intel Core i9-13900HX and two graphics cards to choose from: RTX 4070 or 4090. The amount of RAM is identical to the younger version, but DDR5-6000 modules are used here. The display of the older laptop is more pumped, it has a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. Plus, the 7i received a Thunderbolt 4 connector, and the battery capacity is 99.99 Wh.

The start of sales of gaming laptops is scheduled for March this year. The Legion Pro 5i will start at $1,699, while the Legion Pro 7i will cost at least $2,700.
