RTX technology has failed to become mainstream in the four years since its invention. Most of the new games come out without its support. However, some users manage to add it to old projects.

An enthusiast named sultim_t has released a mod that adds ray tracing to the original Half-Life. Globally, the picture has not changed, since the game has been around for many years. However, some scenes began to look definitely better, as can be seen in the video presented.

It would probably be better for the modder to add ray tracing to the fan-made remake of Black Mesa. Fans of the shooter would be more pleasant to go through the classics with improved lighting.
