Twitter has changed its logo. Now the place of the blue bird is taken by the dog from the popular meme

The logo of the social network has changed for the first time in 10 years. The Dogecoin cryptocurrency quickly reacted to its replacement, the rate of which jumped up. A number of users believe that with this step, Elon Musk wants to hush up the scandalous lawsuit related to the same cryptocurrency.




The Dogecoin exchange rate increased by 25% after the change of the logo. Prior to this, the entrepreneur publicly mentioned this cryptocurrency several times, thereby manipulating its course and receiving criticism for these actions. So, in September 2021, Musk made a publication with a photo of his dog of the same breed as in the meme: this caused the digital currency to appreciate.



Along with replacing the bird with a dog, Musk asked the court to cancel the lawsuit filed against him by the American Keith Johnson. The plaintiff charges the businessman with the fact that the latter dragged him into a financial pyramid associated with Dogecoin, and then artificially manipulated its rate.



Elon Musk claims that the cryptocurrency business and the change of logo are in no way interconnected. As evidence, Musk cites a screenshot of the correspondence with Johnson, which took place even before the purchase by the entrepreneur of the social network. Whether the familiar bird will ever return is unknown.
