Rumors: Mortal Kombat 12 will be announced this week
Studio NetherRealm Ed Boon may present a new part of the fighting game very soon. It was previously assumed that the developers would return to the Injustice franchise, but this information was not confirmed.
And so, a well-known columnist SonicFox suggested that the announcement of MK 12 will take place this week. Another popular insider Jeff Grubb echoes SonicFox: "I think they will fly into space." Game reviewer Jez Corden added his "In September!" to the above statements. At first glance, the information may not be true, but why then Warner Bros. updated the official portal of the gaming franchise?
The last part of Mortal Kombat at number 11 was released in the spring of 2019. The developers supported the game for several years - they added fighters known from the series, as well as characters from cult action movies: Rambo, Terminator, RoboCop, to the title.
