The authors of John Wick and Sonic the Hedgehog will work on the adaptation of Vampire Survivors

The game became a hit almost immediately after its release in 2022. This fact did not go unnoticed by Hollywood filmmakers.



The fantasy indie action game will be released as an animated series, according to game developer Luca Galante. The project will be taken over by Story Kitchen Studio, which includes Derek Kolstad, who was in charge of the script for the first three parts of the John Wick action series, as well as Dmitry M. Johnson, who produced the Sonic the Hedgehog dilogy. At the moment, the animated series is at the pre-production stage, so Galante is in no hurry to talk about the details. But he assures that the creators will give importance to the plot.



Vampire Survivors has been available in Early Access since 2021. In 2022, there was a full-fledged release of the game. Since then, the title has received universal recognition, won many awards and does not get out of the tops of Steam. The action is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Android and iOS platforms.
