Analysts from the company Canalys took up the analysis of the market. The assessment was carried out based on the results of the first quarter, smartphones with a price tag of $500 or more were taken. In total, this segment occupies 31% of the entire market.
It is curious that four out of five models belong to the same brand - this is Apple's iPhone. Devices from the Cupertino company took the first four places on the list. The championship in the top was taken by the iPhone 14 Pro Max. It was followed by the iPhone 14 Pro, the regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 13. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra closes the top five, it was not much ahead of its own standard version and the iPhone 14 Plus. The top ten are the iPhone 12 and SE (2022).
The top also includes HUAWEI Mate 50 and Xiaomi 13. Compared to the results of the same period in 2022, sales in the premium segment of the smartphone market grew by 4.7%.
