Despite the hype over the leak of the Heart of Chernobyl build, the developers at GSC Game World do not forget about past games in the series.
The fact that Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat received updates on Steam was discovered by shooter fans themselves. According to the developers, the update should fix freezing issues on PCs with 12th generation Intel Core chipsets with Windows 11 on board. This was done by modernizing the renderer initialization sequence.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is expected to release next year on PC and Xbox Series.
