The electric pickup truck should be in mass production soon. The appearance of the electric car stands out from the background of analogues, but its design was not developed in one day.
Walter Isaacson, who is writing a biography of Elon Musk, shared various concepts of what Cybertruck could look like. The images shown show the design options that were worked out.
Curiously, the Tesla developers used famous films like RoboCop, Tron, and the James Bond franchise as inspiration for the design. The images also feature vehicles from the sci-fi thriller Blade Runner 2049 and the Cyberpunk 2077 and Halo games.
Isaacson says the Tesla owner had the idea of developing an electric pickup 6 years ago. It is noted that talks about the possibility of producing a car began back in 2012-13, and already in 2016 a pickup truck was announced in a completely new design. In 2019, the car was demonstrated to the public. Isaacson claims that Musk wanted to see an unconventional design, despite the fact that it could scare off potential buyers.
