Infineon Technologies and Adidas will release luminous sneakers

The renowned semiconductor manufacturer has teamed up with the sports brand to create a unique shoe, the Infineon Lighting Shoe. The sneakers can respond to music and environmental sounds through programmable lighting effects.

Thanks to high-quality microphones, the sneakers are able to pick up sound signals and convert them into lighting effects. The built-in microcontroller provides signal processing. For ease of use, it is possible to charge via a USB connector. The design of the sneakers allows all technical components to be conveniently placed without compromising comfort. The luminous sneakers are the result of a collaboration between Infineon and Adidas, highlighting the synergy of technology and style.
