Strauss Zelnick explained how the price tag for video games is formed.
At a recent meeting with investors, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick explained how the cost of video games is formed. Thus, the price tag for entertainment products is based on multiplying the usual hour by the expected number of hours that the gamer will spend in the game.
Zelnick noted that GTA franchise games are worth much more than the price tag that Take-Two puts on them, since users are offered hundreds of hours of gameplay. Therefore, according to Zelnik, the game is worth the candle.
