An ex-Rockstar employee spoke about the studio's unreleased games
We are talking about spy action and survival in the setting of a zombie apocalypse.

Obbe Vermeil, who held the position of technical director at Rockstar Games, spoke about the work of the studio in the period 1995-2009. In particular, he mentioned working on two projects. The first of these is the multiplayer spy action game Agent. The game was in development for almost a year, but then everything was canceled because all efforts had to be put into Grand Theft Auto 5. During the creation process, the developers even tried to make the game smaller by cutting out several levels, including a laser battle in space. Ultimately, the work was stopped.

The second game, the creation of which was discussed in the 2000s, is a survival-action with zombies using the Vice City engine. The game was supposed to take place on one of the islands of Scotland. The player would be asked to face superior forces of the walking dead and look for fuel for transport. But after a month of discussions, the project was also scrapped.

Vermeil shared all these details on November 22 on his own blog. Later, Rockstar contacted its former employee and asked that the posts about these two projects be deleted so as not to destroy the mystical aura around the studio. Vermeil deleted his blog without regret.
