A sequel to the Uncharted film adaptation is in development. The first version of the script is already ready
This was announced by Mark Wahlberg, who plays Victor “Sally” Sullivan.
The actor said that the draft script for the film is already ready, but it needs to be improved. He also said that the entire film will have to wear a mustache - at the end of the first film Sally already had one.
Sony has not yet officially announced the start of production, but producers have expressed a desire to work on a sequel. The first part of Uncharted was released in 2022 and earned $407 million worldwide against a budget of $120 million. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film received a not-so-good 40% freshness from the specialized press and an impressive 90% freshness from ordinary viewers. Together with Wahlberg, Tom Holland (“Spider-Man”), who played the role of young Nathan Drake, should also return to the sequel.
