54 men took part in the experiment.

Scientists from the University of Luxembourg conducted testing regarding violent games. As a result, it was found that by playing such games, gamers not only do not become aggressive, but also get rid of stress.

Two groups of men were involved in the testing, with a total of 54 participants. Both groups were given two different passages from Uncharted 4 to play through, with one group given a passage with violence and the other without.

Before the start of the experiment and after its completion, the players' cortisol (stress hormone) and testosterone levels were changed. As a result, testosterone readings remained almost unchanged in both groups of players, but cortisol levels decreased in users who completed the level with violent scenes. So we can say that the violent level had a relaxing effect on the players.

In addition, testing was carried out, as a result of which it turned out that the violence in the game did not in any way affect the degree of aggression of the tested players.
