Mobile Genshin Impact brought its creators $5 billion in 40 months since release

This is only the 13th title to reach this mark. For others it took much longer.

The developers of Genshin Impact were able to earn $5 billion worldwide from their creation. This took a record forty months. The statistics were shared by the portal data.ai. In the table below you can see the results of other games.



The majority of Genshin Impact's profits came from China – 30% of the total amount. Japan is in 2nd place with 21%, and the United States is in 3rd place (18%).

Genshin Impact was released in September 2020 on Android, iOS, PC, PS4 and PS5. On January 31, update 4.4 with fresh content will become available.
