SEGA is working on a taxi simulator. The announcement took place last December.
Information has appeared that SEGA's subsidiary studio is developing a new Crazy Taxi, and the simulator will be classified as AAA games, that is, it will receive a high budget. This was announced by Takaya Segawa, president of Sapporo studio, owned by SEGA and busy creating Crazy Taxi. There is also evidence of the authors' desire to add a large-scale survival mode for 100 players and a fun driving style.
The release date for the project has not yet been announced. The first Crazy Taxi was released in 1999 and was available in slot machines. After some time, ported versions of the race were released on Dreamcast, PS2, PC, GameCube, Android and iOS.
