Materials with concepts for the canceled game in the world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. have appeared online. for the PSP portable game console. The documents were posted on the Windows Central website. According to information from the documentation, the game would present a slightly different view of the events of Shadow of Chernobyl and the fate of the main character Marked. It was also supposed to be a third-person game. The story campaign was supposed to be linear, the player would meet characters familiar from the original. In addition, the game would have the ability to upgrade equipment, which was implemented in Clear Sky.

At the same time, Windows Central received information that the GSC studio was developing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl for Xbox. This would be a standalone game with a separate story, and not a ported version from PC.
