Previously, an authoritative, but now lost credibility, informant DuskGolem gave an insider about the future Resident Evil 9. According to him, an open world will be added to the game. Also, according to his information, the project is being developed in parallel with Monster Hunter Wild, and both games will show the capabilities of the REX Engine.
Previously, DuskGolem stated that the title would be announced this year and released in 2025. The game will be connected with the previous two parts and will become their kind of sequel. The developers will continue experiments with the universe and opponents, for which they will turn to Indian legends.
