Improved graphics, updated interface and redesigned Switzerland: experimental update 1.50 has been released for Euro Truck Simulator 2
SCS Software never stops testing various new technological solutions and improving its truck driver simulator.

An experimental update has become available for ETS 2 with a redesigned interface made in a minimalist style. Also on the main screen, the status bar has been moved to the top area. The developers also added a sound effect of squeaking brakes. Previously, similar changes appeared in the same update 1.50 for American Truck Simulator 2.

As with ATS 2, changes have been made to the test version of the ETS 2 patch. The basis, as before, is the DirectX 11 API, but the developers have added Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TAA or temporal anti-aliasing). Shadows, smoke particles and other effects have also been improved, and lighting calculations have been optimized, which will improve performance when traveling at night.

At the moment, SCS Software is busy remaking Germany: in 1.50 the Rhineland will be fully redesigned. Cities such as Dortmund, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Duisburg and their surrounding areas have also been completely rebuilt.

Also in the update, Switzerland was completely redesigned: large cities, for example, Geneva and Bern, were redesigned.

The entire list of changes and improvements in patch 1.50 is presented here. The release date for the DLC has not yet been announced, but after the release the first electric truck will appear in the simulator.
