Fans have calculated that the GTA 6 map will be twice the size of the GTA 5 map
The calculations are carried out by a special cartographic project created by fans of the game series.
There is a community called GTA 6 - Vice City & Leonida State - a project created by fans to try to recreate the entire location in GTA 6. Cartographers use the already published data and measurements of the Rage engine for calculations. According to the latest mapping update, the map area in the future game is 125 sq. km. This figure is 2.55 times larger than the area of the map of the previous chapter of the series, which was already quite large.
GTA 6 is due out next year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
