A screenshot from GTA 6 has spread online. It turned out to be fake
Due to the lack of information on the continuation of one of the main game series of our time, many false leaks appear on the Internet thanks to unscrupulous users, which fans rely on. This time, a screenshot allegedly related to GTA 6 appeared on the Internet.
It is curious that the fake appeared on the social network account X (ex-Twitter), which has 1.3 million subscribers. The post has already received more than 13 million views, and this figure continues to grow rapidly.
The following signs indicate that a screenshot is fake: blurred image, the presence of improvised lines of code, which can mislead into the idea that this is supposedly a version of the game leaked in some way. In fact, the screenshot could have been taken using Photoshop or neural networks. The palm trees in the background of the mini-map on the left also look dubious.
GTA 6 will be released in 2025 on PS5 and Xbox Series, and will arrive on PC later.
