Thus, the managers were generally satisfied with the sales figures of the game - according to information as of February, the title was sold 1.3 million times, which is a record figure among all studio projects. However, the game didn’t even break even; it only managed to recapture a portion of the impressive production budget. And that doesn't even count marketing expenses.
Alan Wake 2 was released on October 27 last year on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. Remedy is currently developing story DLC for the game, but the exact release dates are unknown.
