Earlier in the game, a Renault electric truck appeared.
An update has been released for ETS 2 that adds Scania electric trucks models 40 S and 45 S Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). The vehicles are capable of traveling up to 520 km depending on the weight of the load due to the battery capacity of 624 kWh.
With the introduction of electric trucks, the developers from SCS Software were faced with gaps related to infrastructure: the authors still have not added the optimal way to refuel the vehicles, so electric Scania and Renault are only available in quick contracts (if mods are not used).
Orders for such trucks will be limited to a distance of 350 km. If the battery is discharged, it can be urgently recharged. It is not yet known when the creators of the simulator will add full-fledged gas stations for electric trucks to the game.
