The game may be released in 2026.

According to Insider Gaming, Ubisoft has not abandoned the production of the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell remake despite the recent problems in the company. According to sources, the game is being developed on the Snowdrop engine, which was used in The Division 2 and the recent Star Wars Outlaws. The plot will be slightly changed in detail, but the general outline will remain the same as in the original.

Back in April 2024, data miner Visceral reported that the Splinter Cell remake will receive advanced stealth mechanics. Also, opponents will be able to detect the main character by sound and light reflections.

The announcement of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Remake took place back in December 2021. The original was released in 2002, first on Xbox. Later, ports were released on PC and PS2. The game received five full-fledged sequels and several spin-offs. The last title in the Blacklist series was released over ten years ago in 2013 on PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii U.
