The official port of the superhero action game from Insomniac to personal computers was announced at the New York Comic Con 2024 event.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be released on PC on January 30, 2025 via the Steam and EGS platforms. Players will be able to choose from two editions of the title: regular and Deluxe. The extended edition will include the game itself, early access to the web lasso, the Web Knight and Ninja Spider skins, as well as ten exclusive costumes, new tools for the photo mode, and 5 skill points. The PC port is being developed by Insomniac in collaboration with Nixxes Software.
In addition, it became known that Insomniac is not going to release new story DLC for the PC version. All content for the game that was released for the PlayStation version of the game will also be available for PC, including the New Game+ mode. By the way, the DLC The City That Never Sleeps, consisting of three chapters, was released on PS4 and PS5. In it, the main character confronted the villain Sledgehammer with the support of Catwoman.
Also, the PC version of the title will require linking a Steam account to the PlayStation Network, so the game will not be sold in countries where this service does not work.
