There will be no sequel, despite generally favorable reviews from the press and ordinary players.
The sequel to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will not be launched into development due to Ubisoft's dissatisfaction with the game's sales. In addition to the sequel, the creators wanted to release two story add-ons for the game, but both the sequel and the DLC were canceled, and the development team was disbanded. Curiously, it was decided to cancel the development of the second part of the game, allegedly due to its potential negative impact on the sales of the first part.
All of the above information has not yet been officially confirmed. But it is worth noting that Ubisoft is currently in a crisis after the rather unsuccessful releases of Star Wars Outlaws and Skull & Bones.
