A zombie shooter from the creators of Left 4 Dead is being developed under the working title Gobi 2. The original, released in 2021, was created under the name Gobi.
A mention of Gobi 2 was found in the profile of stuntman Jesse Hitch, who was involved in motion capture during the production of the original title. The development is also indicated by the fact that in 2023 the domain name back4blood2.com was registered. Interestingly, Gobi is the name of the lizard, the former mascot of Turtle Rock Studios, the studio responsible for developing the shooter.
As for the original B4B, in 2023 they stopped releasing updates for it, as the authors decided to fully focus on new games. But not long ago, the cooperative action still received an update that removed the Denuvo hacking protection.
