Developers from Iconiq Studios have revealed fresh details of their board game Tomb Raider: The Crypt of Chronos, and also showed off a Lara Croft figurine for the first time. This board game, inspired by the legendary franchise, will send gamers on an exciting adventure with puzzle solving, battles, and exploring mysterious locations.
The game's plot unfolds on the island of Kairos, where Lara is looking for an ancient artifact that allows her to control time. Dangerous traps, secrets, and a clash with an old enemy from Natla Technologies await her.
The game will offer two modes: Adventure Book Mode with missions lasting from 20 minutes to an hour and unique scenarios, as well as a campaign with open movement around the location and random quests.
The average time to complete this mode is about three hours. Special attention is paid to the crafting system, which allows you to create weapons, equipment, and skills for the main character. Although the project is conceived as a single-player game, the authors emphasize that players will be able to attract friends to solve problems together.
Funds for development are planned to be collected through crowdfunding on Kickstarter in May 2025, fans will be able to support the project and receive exclusive bonuses.
