The organizers of the main gaming ceremony of the year have launched a user vote for the title of the best game of the year. The uniqueness of this nomination is that the winner is chosen exclusively by gamers, unlike other categories, where decisions are made by an expert jury.

30 releases of 2024 are participating in the voting, including: Balatro, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Dragon's Dogma 2, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Helldivers 2, Palworld, Silent Hill 2 and others. At the first stage, players are asked to choose 10 favorite projects, after which the number of contenders will gradually decrease over three rounds.

The winner of the vote will be announced during the award ceremony, which will take place on December 7. Last year, Baldur's Gate III won in this category.
