Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared fresh information about the next generation of iPad Pro, which will be equipped with a new processor from Apple. According to the insider, the device is already in development, and its mass production is scheduled for autumn 2025. The assembly will be handled by BYD Electronic, which will also be responsible for the production of new models of HomePod smart speakers.
The timing announced by Kuo corresponds to the usual update cycle of the iPad Pro line, which is about 18 months. The current models with the M3 chip went on sale in May 2024, and therefore the debut of devices with the M5 processor in the fall of 2025 seems like a logical step.
In addition, along with the new iPad Pro, Apple is expected to introduce a number of other products, including the iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods. There are no additional details about the characteristics of the device yet, but experts suggest that the new model will continue to strengthen Apple's position in the professional tablet market due to increased performance and an improved screen.
