Nothing, a company known for its focus on user ideas, has launched Nothing Community Widgets, an app that allows you to create and use widgets created by the community. One of the first features added was a widget representing the iconic game Snake, which became very popular on Nokia phones.
For this project, Nothing collaborated with designer Rahul Janardhanan and developer Thomas Legendre to create a modern incarnation of the game. The game is controlled by swipes, and a double tap allows you to pause the game. The concept remains the same: the player needs to collect dots that increase the length of the snake and avoid collisions.
Nothing Community Widgets is already available on Google Play. The company plans to regularly add new widgets created with the participation of the community to make the functionality of the devices more flexible and interesting.
