At The Game Awards 2024, scheduled for December 13, video game fans can expect big premieres. Thus, information has appeared that the event is expected to feature a presentation of Borderlands 4 and the next part of Mafia with the subtitle The Old Country.
Randy Pitchford, head of Gearbox Software, spoke about the announcement of Borderlands 4. The events of the game will begin immediately after the end of the third installment, but on a completely new planet.
The host of the show, Geoff Keighley, spoke about the upcoming screening of Mafia: The Old Country. The fresh chapter of the franchise will send gamers to Sicily at the dawn of the 20th century. The production is being handled by Hangar 13, the studio responsible for Mafia 3 and Mafia: Definitive Edition.
Both projects are being developed on the UE 5 engine and will be released on PC and current-generation consoles.
