Pacific Drive is a survival simulator in which the player controls an old station wagon, exploring the mysterious Anomaly Zone in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. Survival becomes the key task: it is necessary to avoid dangers such as radiation, electrical storms, and strange creatures, while obtaining resources to repair and upgrade the car.
The world of Pacific Drive is procedurally generated, and the player's progress depends on how deep they can penetrate the Zone, upgrading the car and uncovering the secrets of the area. This unique concept, combining a tense atmosphere with roguelike elements, became the reason for the popularity of the game and attracted attention to its adaptation for the screen.
