Many games-as-a-service face difficulties in retaining the audience after a successful launch, but it seems that the superhero action has managed to avoid this fate. A month after the release, the project has demonstrated stable indicators of daily user activity, which makes it a rare exception among other games.
According to SteamDB, at the time of launch, about 480 thousand people were playing the shooter at the same time. Four weeks later, the evening online remains at the level of 430-450 thousand users, which indicates high interest from players. For comparison, last year Helldivers 2 at the start reached similar indicators with 458 thousand users, but after two months its audience decreased to 100 thousand active players.
Marvel Rivals, apparently, has more favorable prospects. This week, the first season starts, which will add iconic characters from the Fantastic Four to the game. The first to debut are Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, followed by the Thing and the Human Torch.
