Google Updates Gboard Keyboard Design to Make It More Subdued

After extensive testing, the company has begun distributing the updated Gboard design with a modified Dynamic Color feature. Now the appearance has become less colorful due to the unification of the color palette.






Previously, the keys had four different shades, but now the additional keys are painted in one color, matching the desktop wallpaper. This made the interface more concise, and in dark mode, the keyboard has become even darker.

The update is downloaded by the server side, so the new version of Gboard (14.9) receives changes automatically. Those who want to speed up the process can try pausing the application in the settings and changing the system theme.
