Take-Two shies away from revealing AI's role in GTA 6 development

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has once again raised the topic of AI in the video game industry, including its possible use in GTA 6. However, he did not comment on the extent to which AI will be involved in the creation of the game or its trailer.
Zelnick noted that machine learning technologies have been used in the industry for a long time and contribute to increased efficiency. However, in his opinion, generative AI cannot replace the creativity of developers, which remains a key element of successful projects.

The head also touched on the issue of compensation for employees whose materials can be used when working with neural networks. He believes that such specialists should receive payments, but did not specify how exactly this will be implemented.
In addition, Zelnick expressed confidence that the release of GTA 6, scheduled for next fall for PS5 and Xbox Series, will stimulate the growth of sales of gaming consoles. In addition, he sees no reason to worry about the impact of violence in games on the real world.
