How GTA 5 Graphics Have Changed in 12 Years: New Comparison of Different Versions
Following the release of the next-gen update for the PC version of GTA 5, a comparison video has appeared online demonstrating the graphical changes to the game over the past 12 years. In the video, the author compared the improved version of Enhanced with the original game, running on a system with a NVIDIA RTX 4090 graphics card, an AMD Ryzen 9 9950x chip, and 32 GB of DDR5 6000 MHz RAM.

The first video shows the differences in graphics and performance, including a test of the built-in benchmark. At ultra settings, the classic version demonstrated a higher FPS in a number of scenes, but in some episodes, the new version outperformed the original. Overall, both versions showed more than 100 frames per second.

The second video focuses exclusively on the graphical improvements, including the impact of ray tracing, and the third demonstrates the difference between GTA 5 Enhanced and the original PS3 version released in 2013.

The screenshots show how RTX affects the image, making reflections and lighting more realistic. Key improvements in the update include advanced ray tracing, accelerated loading, support for AMD FSR 3 and NVIDIA DLSS 3, DualSense compatibility, Dolby Atmos technology, and the appearance of animals in online mode. In addition, the update added exclusive content from the console versions.
