According to insider Tom Henderson, the hybrid console will go on sale in June 2025. The company is expected to hold a closed presentation of the device and games for the press next week.
Nintendo is planning a 3-stage release of titles for the new console. The initial lineup will mainly feature projects from internal studios, and in the fall, presumably in October-November, games from third-party authors will appear. An additional set of titles will be released closer to the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Developers will receive the Switch 2 devkit in June, which will allow them to prepare projects for the future release.
