Insider Daniel Richtman revealed that Naughty Dog is secretly developing another project in addition to Intergalactic: The Heresy Prophet and The Last of Us Part threequel. According to him, this is the next chapter of Uncharted, which the team has been working on for 3 years.
The project is headed by Sean Escayg, the creative director of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which further increases the likelihood of the series' return. Given the cancellation of the multiplayer The Last of Us and the low probability of launching two new franchises at once, the plot will presumably focus on Cassie Drake, Nathan's daughter.
There has been no official confirmation from Naughty Dog yet, so the information should be taken with a grain of salt. However, Richtman has already proven himself to be a reliable insider, which means that a new Uncharted may well appear in the coming years.
