Rebellion Developments, best known for the Sniper Elite series, decided to radically change direction and released the post-apocalyptic RPG Atomfall — and, judging by the results, it was right. In the first five days since the release, 1.5 million people managed to immerse themselves in the game, which became the most successful premiere in the studio's history. However, it is worth remembering that the project became available on Game Pass from the first day.

According to Rebellion, such an impressive result is a reflection of the team's creative approach and its willingness to experiment beyond the usual genre. The studio emphasizes that the stability of its internal structure allows it to take risks and launch unconventional projects that, as in the case of Atomfall, find their audience.
The developers also shared game statistics: in less than a week, players drank more than 300 thousand cups of tea, ate over four million pies and destroyed about 3.7 million opponents using cricket sticks - one of the key "British" elements of the gameplay.

Atomfall was released on March 27 and received generally positive reviews. Although the plot caused a restrained reaction from critics, the atmosphere and style of the RPG reminded several iconic projects at once - from Fallout to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.
