An unusual hybrid, Sidephone, which combines a classic push-button keyboard with the modern Android operating system, will or may appear on the mobile device market. The main feature of the new product is a patented system of a removable block of physical buttons, which can be changed depending on the user's needs.

The device is equipped with a compact touchscreen with a resolution of 480x640 pixels, under which there is a magnetic platform for attaching the keyboard. The manufacturer promises the ability to choose between different layout options. The technical stuffing includes a MediaTek MT8766 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, as well as a 12-megapixel camera.

Despite using Android, Sidephone does not come with pre-installed Google Play, offering instead a limited set of adapted applications. The device supports modern communication standards, including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The battery capacity is 1800 mAh, which corresponds to the concept of an energy-efficient gadget for basic tasks.



Sidephone is currently preparing to enter the market - pre-orders are expected to start soon, after which the device will go on sale. This unusual device is positioned as a solution for those who value the tactile sensations of a physical keyboard, but do not want to completely give up the capabilities of a smartphone.
