The authors announced a new release date for the co-op action Killing Floor 3 - July 24, 2025, which is four months later than the originally planned date of March 25. The postponement is due to the need to refine the gameplay based on reviews from closed beta test participants.
The game will take place in 2091, where players will have to confront the Horzine corporation and its army of mutants as part of the rebel group "Twilight". The project will offer a cooperative mode for five people with a leveling system, a diverse arsenal of weapons and support for crossplay between the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S platforms.
The studio emphasizes that the additional months of development have significantly improved the quality of the game, and support for the project will continue after the release with the addition of new content.
