TES IV: Oblivion Remake Is Rapidly Losing Players
Just a month after its release, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has seen its online audience plummet. The number of concurrent players has dropped from a record 216,784 to a modest 26,895, a loss of nearly 90% of its user base.

This rapid decline contrasts with the more resilient performance of other RPGs, including Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, which retained about 35% of its original audience over the same period. Analysts attribute the situation to the nostalgic nature of interest in the remake - many players, having satisfied their curiosity, quickly returned to more modern projects.

Despite graphical improvements, including updated lighting and redesigned character models, the updated version of the classic RPG failed to hold the attention of a modern audience against the backdrop of current gaming standards. It is significant that Oblivion Remastered's online performance has already fallen behind that of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, which remains popular years after its release.
