Six years after its original release, the cult RPG Disco Elysium is finally getting a mobile adaptation. Developers from ZA/UM studio announced that the Android version will be released on August 5, and those interested can already apply for pre-registration on Google Play. There is no information about the iOS release yet.
The mobile version will retain the signature plot and style of Disco Elysium, but will feature reworked gameplay, closer to the format of visual novels. Users will be able to play through the first two chapters for free, which will allow them to evaluate the updated gameplay before purchasing the full version.
Despite numerous announcements of games inspired by Disco Elysium, none of these projects have been released yet, which makes the mobile release of the original RPG especially relevant for fans of the genre.
