Developer Balatro Completes 100% Gameplay and Prepares First Major Update

The creator of the popular poker roguelike Balatro, known under the pseudonym LocalThunk, announced that he has completed 100% completion of his own game, including the rare Completionist++ achievement, which only 0.1% of players have received. This process took a significant amount of time, as the developer devoted several gaming sessions daily to studying the mechanics and balance.



In his post on the social network X, LocalThunk noted that he now feels completely ready to work on update 1.1. Although the exact release date of the patch and its contents are still unknown, the developer hinted that he plans to repeat the 100% completion after adding new content. The current version of the game - 1.0.1 - continues to delight fans, but fans are already eagerly awaiting the promised changes and additions.
