Playdigious, in collaboration with Unknown Worlds Entertainment, has released a full-fledged mobile version of the cult game Subnautica for iOS and Android. The release took place on July 8, 2025, preserving all the key mechanics of the original game about survival in an alien underwater world, but adapting the controls for touch screens.
The original Subnautica, released in 2018 for PC, gained wide recognition - more than 5 million copies were sold, and the title itself was awarded the "Best Indie Game" award at the Gamers' Choice Awards and "Best PC Game" according to the Golden Joystick Awards. The mobile version offers the same exciting experience of exploring the ocean depths and surviving in a dangerous environment as the computer original.
